not able install blackberry ndk (installer-bbndk-bb10_1_x_macos.dmg). double tapping on dmg file mount disk , when tap on installer-bbndk.app shows error "you can't open application "installer bbndk" because powerpc applications no longer supported".
googled issue still not solved.

you can verify md5 checksum, since large download.
finally, can check release notes, there known issues/known limitations when installing on mac, including permission problems , environment settings. 1 solution try unsetting environment variable 'ps1' before running installer.

mac os x 10.8 (mountain lion) has new security option, under settings > security & privacy > general determines kind of application can installed on system.
in order install ndk, change option default "mac app store , identified developers" "anywhere".
mountain lion (os x 10.8) listed supported platform in system requirements bb10 native/cascades sdk.
i recommend downloading , installing new momentics 10.2 beta ide, , using download sdk packages need bb 10.0 , 10.1 development. note same "install apps anywhere" setting os x 10.8 mentioned above required install. while still beta, nicer job of allowing develop multiple sdk versions, , has new cleaner interface. since can install whichever sdk versions choose new ide, not required or limited installing 10.2 beta sdk , i've been using 10.0 , 10.1 development month now.
