i got email morning saying application (fuel+) ready sale. "rushed" iphone , typed fuel+ in app store search not find application not there. why app in itunes connect preview not in app store search menu. (this first app in app store.)
it takes while (less day) app store index application in search engine.
also, app listings on app store ranked based on popularity (number of downloads, number of ratings, etc.)
seeing using common term "fuel" in app name, , yours new application, app possibly appearing @ end of list, , there 900 applications in list in total.
it idea use name isn't common dictionary term improve visiblity of application. otherwise, lose out in search results on 100 applications have been in market while , has acquired high number of downloads.
