i trying develop first gae app python on eclipse, this tutorial sent here instal. when go eclipse, new -> project -> pydev -> pydev google app engine program, name , in next window asks google app engine directory, choose
/applications/eclipse/plugins/com.google.appengine.eclipse.sdkbundle_1.7.7.1. and tells me "invalid google app engine directory. did not find: appcfg.py in
/applications/eclipse/plugins/com.google.appengine.eclipse.sdkbundle_1.7.7.1" and when dive directory, should have need see appengine-java-sdk-1.7.7.1 , no python.
in addition when use blue google circle in toolbar create app creates java files.
in further addition i've seen in questions this 1 people suggest looking
/applications/googleappenginelauncher.app/contents/resources/ googleappengine-default.bundle/contents/resources/google_appengine/ only apparently don't have anywwhere on computer, though have gae launcher installed.
long story short, how gae python sdk eclipse?
first of all, google plugin java useless python development... yes know sad, disapointed well.
then second link gave wrong , don't know got if go on first link, section 3. google app engine sdk python, go here, link. linux, end zip file need extract , find appcfg.py file in it.
the fisrt link gave 1 followed , explain. keep looking.
