Receive email in asp.net mvc -

is there anyway receive email in mvc, i'm imagining involves setting smtp server , having app poll every often.

the scenario thinking of tracking emails not being able sent various reasons invalid email address, receipient server down etc , we'd track know whats going on , read error response sent.

the other thing i'm not 100% sure of how tie messages together, i'm guessing reasonable job checking message title , recipients better way might specify custom header i'm not sure if these still sent mailer when replying error, ideas?

i think i've done before use third-party commercial component asp i'm not sure main operating system server or whatsoever.

but might check source code , component through , build application.

the source code dope , wide, might download, check , learn that.
