i designing report in pentaho report designer contain chinese simplified words, when print preview, chinese words appeared, when preview using pdf chinese words won't come out. problem of adobe reader or in pentaho? because insatlled adobe reader x , installed chinese font pack adobe reader x still wont come out. or there should after installing font pack. , fyi use sim sun font this.

first go field u want enable chinese fonts, make sure u click on second, go format on menu bar find font , find advanced font tab tick embed fonts , encoding : utf-8 make sure font allowed chinese words simsun or simhei
