How to implement download resume facility with ICS THttpCli in Delphi 7? -

i wanted implement download manager httpcli download resumption facility present in ftpclient ( ics components) . in ftpclient , achieved using restgetasync . came across 2 properties contentrangebegin , contentrangeend .

i had set contentrangebegin = 192 , contentrangeend 500 bytes. set url "http://www.google.com'. expected contentrangeend - contentrangebegin downloaded . full file downloaded .

i set rcvdstream httpcli1.rcvdstream := tfilestream.create('c:\a.txt',fmcreate); // setting openwrite mode appends full file existing file.

a.txt present in c:\ drive size of 197 bytes.

what more needs done ?
