making an image link from a db asp.net mvc 4 -

i have foreach loop pulling images db :

     `@foreach (var item in model)      <tr>      <td>      <img width="50" height="50" src="@url.action("getimage", "product", new { item.productid})"/>      </td>      ...` 

i tried wrap in 'a' tag 404's.

    <a href = "~/..."> <img width="".../></a> 

any ideas?

an image hyperlink i'm trying achieve. click image , you're taken edit page.

okay suppose image shown in question product.getimage , edit page called product.edit, can have this:

<a href="@url.action("edit")"><img src="@url.action("getimage","product")" /></a>
