i have wp website has home top banner , 2 more controllable panel here.
my question best way keep controllable via admin?
the way did create 2 categories names "latest updates" , "new in 2013!" , coded such posts coming under categories gets displayed in respective panels on home page. image usual controlled via featured image of post. pretty basic setup manage content via posts keep layout intact , @ same time task.
i had suggestions should keep right there in wp editor control i.e. put div / ul / li etc. right there in wp editor using text part , have admin control right there.
i need know method better implementation i.e. managing via posts or keep right there in editor , put html content in editor.
all recommendations appreciated.
your first 1 method correct ,easy , safe.
safe because,if accidentally change in editor showing content breaked
